EARLY-ACCESS GUIDE · UPDATED 11 October 2026
What approved rules and quality release mean
Automatic requirement selection, human engineering authority and a clear boundary around the inspection result.
This guide describes the service scope. Access and the workflow supported for your site are confirmed during onboarding.
Automatic selection after approval
People write bounded selection conditions in the structured plan editor. For example, a supplier condition adds an already approved check and requires supervisor release. People prove and publish the plan, then deterministic code selects its requirements from known context without a model call during inspection. Plain English authoring is not enabled.
Human methods and observations
AI does not invent engineering tolerances, calibration evidence or an uncertainty policy. Readings are entered by hand in the displayed unit. A keyboard-emulating device does not make that reading authenticated instrument evidence.
One unit and one record
Quality release is CheckStation's recorded authorisation for the inspected unit. It does not release a lot, move stock, complete another product's operation, open an interlock or authorise despatch. Printed reports capture a historical status, with a separate route to current authorised status.
Practise with the real screens
Practise recording inspections, responding to failed checks and reviewing holds or retests, using made-up units and inspection evidence.
