EARLY-ACCESS GUIDE · UPDATED 11 October 2026
The CheckStation inspection workflow
The path from approved requirements to an identified unit, observations and a quality disposition.
This guide describes the service scope. Access and the workflow supported for your site are confirmed during onboarding.
Scope
CheckStation runs final inspection of individually identified units at one site. The workflow below is its scope, and early access starts with one inspection family agreed with you.
Approve and freeze the checks
Your process owner supplies methods and limits. An author prepares the plan and a different reviewer approves it against expected examples. At start, CheckStation freezes the identified unit's context, plan, selected checks and limits.
Record, complete and release
An inspector submits each observation. A complete record can still be nonconforming. Required evidence and human review remain explicit obligations; quality release additionally needs all conforming results and no unresolved hold.
Practise with the real screens
Practise recording inspections, responding to failed checks and reviewing holds or retests, using made-up units and inspection evidence.
